ABOUT THE DESIGNER

I discovered my passion for design during my high school years when I achieved first place in the prestigious "Skills Olympics - Graphic Design" competition in Arizona, and went on to secure the 7th place at the national level. This inspired me to pursue my dreams, leading me to enroll at Texas Christian University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

Following my graduation, I embarked on an exciting journey by relocating to the vibrant city of New York. There, I had the privilege of joining Ceci New York, a renowned luxury design house. Immersed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, I had the opportunity to refine my design skills. Specializing in invitation and print design, I honed my expertise in typographic design while developing a profound understanding of printing techniques, paper selection, and inks.

Although my time in New York was invaluable, I eventually realized that the bustling city life was not the ideal fit for me. I returned to Arizona and joined a restaurant concept company, JNK Concepts. In my role as lead designer, I collaborated closely with managers to determine the unique print and digital design requirements for each location. My responsibilities included the creation of comprehensive campaigns and digital designs for web, email, and social media platforms.

I transitioned to Sprouts Farmers Market Corporate as a Creative Design Specialist, where I engaged in diverse facets of the business. A significant focus of my role involved crafting packaging designs for the Sprouts Private Label Brand, entailing close collaboration with printers for mockups and proofs. Additionally, I designed various printed materials for in-store promotions, specials, and campaigns. One aspect of my position that particularly ignited my passion was serving as the Art Director for photoshoots, and I also assumed the role of lead designer for the Deals of the Month publication.

Driven by my affinity for package design, I sought new horizons at Marketing By Design, an agency specializing in comprehensive package design solutions for major retail chains. This experience granted me invaluable insights into consumer behavior, shopping tendencies, and the art of designing for a 360-degree perspective. Working with prominent clients such as PetSmart, Smart & Final, Sprouts, BJ's, 7-Eleven, and Natural Grocers, I actively participated in projects from initial concept to final execution. Throughout this journey, I honed my ability to incorporate feedback from clients, project managers, and production teams without compromising the integrity of the design.

As a highly self-motivated individual with a keen eye for color, typography, and layout, I consistently strive for excellence. Possessing strong presentation skills and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude, I love to use my skills to bring a little more beauty to people's lives.
